Through my experiences singing in the a cappella style I have met some amazing arrangers. A few years ago I heard this absolutely incredible choral arrangement of the classic Soundgarden tune from the 90’s “Black Hole Sun”

I reached out the arranger Mo Field and asked if I could adapt the arrangement for string quartet. Luckily the answer was yes, and thus this version was born. It is a great chart that challenges intermediate string players with lots of syncopated lines and off beat patterns that interweave throughout the chart.
